Our customized, individual group focused, adventure camps allow us to give your group our full attention.  Located outside Durango, Colorado in the San Juan Mountains any one of our three options will meet the needs of your group and give you one of the best camp experiences you have ever had.

Option #1 - Condominium Lodging

For groups wanting to experience the outdoor adventure activities during the day while returning to the comforts of condominium lodging at night, this is the option for your group. We spend each day rock climbing, rappelling down cliffs, whitewater rafting and hiking through mountain meadows. Your group will be encouraged and challenged by the adventure activities as well as being awed inspired by the beauty of God’s creation.  Through nightly worship services and evening small groups we provide relevant teaching on the reality of God’s love combined with lessons learned from the day and focus it towards Christ and unity as a group. 

Five days activities and four nights in condos - $295 per person


Option #2 - Tent Camping

 As if the daily activities of rock climbing, rappelling, river rafting and hiking aren't enough, each evening we worship under the stars while enjoying the warmth of a campfire and the sounds of nature. Since we take care of all the details you can enjoy spending time with your group and enjoying the mountains.

We provide all tents, equipment, meals, activities, small group devotions, material, worship and speaking. With our emphasis on the reality of God’s love and the importance of transparent relationships, your group will have a new understanding of community and a life with Christ.  The staff of Compass Wilderness will guide any group into a safe but adventurous face to face encounter with God in His beautiful creation. Option #3 - Backpacking Trips

Leave the civilized world behind, carry everything you need for a week on your back and enjoy the challenges and rewards that come from traveling into the wilderness. Hiking through alpine meadows, standing atop mountain peaks, sleeping under the stars and waking to the sounds of nature will bring you face to face with our Creator in a new and powerful way. Our wilderness trekking trips focus on leadership, group bonding, group dynamics and strengthening our personal walk with Christ. We end this intense week of group accountability and personal growth with a night of luxury. Step off the trail and into the comfort of condominium lodging, a great meal, hot tubs and a final time of worship and sharing about what God has done in our lives.
